Choice 1 : Filter Size
We have already pre-selected the correct filter size for any given water storage volume. First, calculate the total volume of water you intend to store in existing and new rain water tanks. Second, calculate the volume of any future tanks you intend to add to your Rainwater Storage Solution. Next, add these two volumes to give you your total water storage volume. Finally, select a kit size that accommodates your total water storage volume.
Selecting a smaller sized kit will provide the same water filtering quality however, an increase in the amount of cleaning required will be experienced. Conversely, a larger then needed kit will extend the time before the filter would need cleaning.
